Jared Nielsen is an Associate with the Valuation and HR Advisory Services groups at Equity Methods. As part of the Valuation practice, he engages in valuation of equity compensation instruments using Monte Carlo simulations as well as Lattice and Black-Scholes models. He also supports valuations of different financial instruments, including warrants and other complex securities. Within HR Advisory Services, he serves on client support teams that assist with model application and the development of communication materials. With his knowledge of modeling and programming in SAS and Excel, Jared contributes to the development of internal automation efforts.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University, where he was a teaching assistant in the Finance Department. He also has passed the Level I CFA examination.
