Joseph Opferman is a Senior Accountant at Equity Methods, where he performs internal accounting functions and oversees month-end close processes. He prepares annual and quarterly financial statements that support informed organizational decision-making, and also supports audits, and client invoicing. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph held a position as a Senior Associate in PwC’s Assurance practice, where he served clients across the Chicago area and Phoenix. This audit background exposed him to a wide variety of accounting complexities and helped him build the ability to communicate fluently across different business units, and his experience in a consulting environment allowed him to ramp up quickly at Equity Methods.

Joseph holds a Master of Accountancy (2022) and a BBA in Accounting (2021), both from the University of Iowa. He is a licensed CPA in Arizona.
