Lien Ta is an Economist in the Valuation and HR Advisory practice at Equity Methods. Lien provides support to team members and clients in custom valuation engagements in accordance with ASC 718. She utilizes Monte Carlo simulations, Lattice, and Black-Scholes models in the valuation of various equity compensation instruments.
Lien earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Drexel University, where her research leveraged theoretical modeling of the labor market and applied econometric methods to quantify the impact of macroeconomic events and policies on job dynamics. She has experience with optimization, text analytics and predictive modeling.
