Managing compensation for senior executives is never easy. It is particularly tricky to set pay levels for employees newly promoted to the senior executive team, executive talent joining from outside the organization or to make pay arrangements for executives as they leave the company. New levels of complexity have been added to onboarding and exiting executive talent due to changes in 162m rules, limitations on asking for salary information from candidates and the increased focus on pay equity for all employees. Our panel will provide participants with a path to navigating these challenging issues and identify pitfalls based on experience.

Joining David on the panel will be Lisa Coulson (Principal Financial Group) and Eric Hosken (Compensation Advisory Partners).

Equity compensation within a private company is like a box of chocolates, you never know what flavor you’ll get. Actually, even though the structure of long-term incentives within private companies varies tremendously, this variation is closely linked to the stage of life cycle, nature of the ownership base, and intended exit timing (if any). This session will demystify how equity compensation is used within private companies using case studies and experience from our experienced panel.

Joining Takis on the panel will be Bertha Masuda (Compensation Advisory Partners) and Bryan McCormick (PetSmart).
