—Feedback from Equity Methods clients in this year’s Group Five Stock Plan Financial Reporting Benchmarking Study

Equity Methods has topped ratings for loyalty and overall satisfaction in Group Five’s annual Stock Plan Administration Benchmarking Study for the ninth consecutive year. The study asks corporate plan sponsors to evaluate financial reporting services related to equity compensation plans.

Each year, Group Five surveys plan sponsors about their vendor experience. Results break down along two dimensions: satisfaction and loyalty.

For 2022, Equity Methods earned a 100% favorable rating in clients’ overall satisfaction and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 97, the highest ratings in the study. The second highest NPS for this year is 62, and the average across the industry is 50.

Group Five is the industry leader for corporate client satisfaction research and consulting in the shareholder services, equity plan administration, and 401(k) recordkeeping industries. Now in its 24th year, the Group Five benchmarking study is designed to measure stock plan sponsors’ satisfaction with their plan administrators, plan brokers, technology platforms, and financial reporting services. The study also identifies service providers’ strengths and areas for improvement from the plan sponsor perspective, and identifies the key drivers of plan sponsor loyalty to service providers. The 2022 study includes responses from 380 US public companies.

“We’re honored to be recognized with the top satisfaction and loyalty scores in the industry again this year,” said Takis Makridis, president and CEO of Equity Methods. “Our clients face unrelenting regulatory, market, and workforce change. We take pride in offering them an integrated approach that brings creativity, flexibility, and automation to their most critical equity compensation initiatives and processes. This year marks our tenth anniversary as an independent company, making this acknowledgement from clients especially meaningful.”
