Continuing with Equity Methods’ research and work regarding the strategic use of award “levers,” David shows how companies can design more efficient awards that simultaneously meet the needs of recipients, shareholders, and committee members. In the course of doing so, David also explains how to set appropriate expectations with internal stakeholders regarding variables that might change between the compensation committee “blessing” an award and that award’s eventual grant.
