Sam Jankovich is a Manager in the Financial Reporting Services group at Equity Methods. He brings a background that bridges the preparer and auditor sides of financial reporting, with hands-on experience as a Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager at ExtraHop, a global cybersecurity company, alongside earlier work in the assurance practice of BDO USA.

At ExtraHop, Sam oversaw financial statement preparation under US GAAP, managed statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions, and led the development of accounting policy and process documentation, including stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718. His audit career at BDO included work with hospitality and nonprofit clients across the Pacific Northwest, grounding him early in how rigorous reporting standards apply across different organizational contexts.

Sam holds a Master of Accounting from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Idaho. He holds an active CPA license (WA).
