For the 11th consecutive year, Equity Methods earned the highest loyalty and overall client satisfaction ratings in the financial reporting services industry, according to Group Five’s 2025 Equity Compensation Administration Benchmarking Study.

The study, compiled by Group Five,  reflects survey responses from plan sponsors at US public companies.

Equity Methods achieved a 100% client satisfaction score for the 10th straight year. We also garnered a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 95 for the year, which is not only the highest among our peers, but nearly double the industry average NPS of 50.

In addition to statistical findings, Group Five gathered testimonials from respondents that illustrate why Equity Methods continues to outpace other providers year after year.

“Equity Methods is amazing to work with and always meets all of our reporting needs.”

“Their customer service and tailoring to [our] unique needs is fantastic. They are a wonderful partner.”

“Testimonials such as these are humbling,” says Takis Makridis, President and CEO of Equity Methods. “Earning the highest marks in the industry decade confirms that we are delivering on our commitment to provide best-in-class service.”

Makridis believes Equity Methods’ commitment to staying in front of evolving trends accounts for the high levels of customer satisfaction, year after year.

“Over the years, our clients’ 10-K, proxy-to-statutory reporting, and recharge needs have evolved and become more complex,” he says. “As a result, we’ve become even more collaborative with Accounting, HR, Stock Administration, and Legal teams. We leverage our entire infrastructure and technical expertise to drive better outcomes for our clients, enabling their continued success.”

Group Five is the industry leader for corporate client satisfaction research and consulting in the shareholder services, equity plan administration, and 401(k) recordkeeping industries. In its latest benchmarking study, which is now in its 26th year, stock plan sponsors representing 359 US companies shared feedback about their plan administrators, plan brokers, technology platforms, and financial reporting services.
