Qi brings a diverse background in finance, economics, accounting and programming to the Equtiy Methods Valuation Services Group. As a manager, Qi leads equity compensation valuation engagements for clients and provides support on custom valuation engage in accordance with ASC 718. She was the key developer of AwardTraq WebApp and serves as the AwardTraq administrator, responsible for its development, maintenance and overall management. Leveraging her programming skills, Qi also contributes to the development and enhancement of the EM internal processes.
Prior to joining Equity Methods, Qi worked in the consumer risk management group of Bank of Montreal and Bank of the West, gaining deep expertise in credit risk modeling and forecasting. Qi holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Economics from Fudan University of China, and a B.S.in International Economics from Nankai University. Qi is a CFA charterholder and a certified FRM.
